Plot Synopsis:

Dr. Shrinker, an evil scientist, lives on an island with his assistant, Hugo, working on various inventions, including a shrinking machine. Brad, BJ and her brother, Gordie, are three teenagers who crash land on the island. Dr. Shrinker decides to use the three teens as guinea pigs to test his shrinking ray, but they manage to escape from Dr. Shrinker's lab. Dr. Shrinker spends the rest of the series thinking up of new ways to capture the teens.


One of three segments from the first season of the Krofft Supershow. After Dr. Shrinker's one season, the characters of Dr. Shrinker and Hugo were part of the cast of the Lost Island segment on the Krofft Superstar Hour, except Dr. Shrinker was now called Dr. Deathray.

The show aired on Cox Cable's Retro Saturday Morning in 2005 as part of the first season of the Krofft Supershow.

The first four episodes of the show are included in Vol. 1 and 7 (two on each volume) of Columbia House's "The World of Sid and Marty Krofft", Re-TV/Family series. The series appears to be out of print, but used copies can usually be found on Ebay from time to time.
