Plot Synopsis:
After taking a sip from a fountain of youth, John Martin changed from a 45 year-old school teacher to a 12 year-old. Because he only took a sip, the change was not permanent but the change was reoccurring and Martin had no control as to when the change would occur. John's secret was only know to his immediate family and to explain the appearance of the 12 year-old John, they claimed he was their nephew. Throughout the series, John tried to find a cure for his predicament, but he was unsuccessful in his attempts.

There were many connections between this show and the Brady Bunch: It was created and executive produced by Sherwood Schwartz, Sherwood's son, Lloyd Schwartz, was the producer, Robbie Rist played Cousin Oliver on the last season of the Brady Bunch, and Joyce Bulifant was originally cast as Carol Brady (but was replaced by Florence Henderson). Rist returned to Saturday morning television in the 80s when he played Whiz on Kidd Video. Rist and Bulifant were also semi-regulars on the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Herb Edelman was probably best known for playing Bea Arthur's ex husband on the Golden Girls. Kristoff St. John continued to act and is primarily known for his roles in soap operas, such as Generations and the Young and the Restless. Mike Darnell went on to work on the other side of the camera as the executive vice president of specials at the Fox network.

(November 2012)

The complete series was supposed to be released on DVD on October 13th, 2009, but it got pushed back until April 2010. A few weeks before it that release date, the studio pulled it from their release schedule. According to TV Shows on DVD, the studio still plans to release the series in some fashion, but there is no new scheduled release date.

For those that don't want to wait, the series was release last year in the UK and in Australia. I ordered my copy through Amazon UK and as was the case with the Red Hand Gang release, the DVD set is region free and should be playable on all DVD players and computers.
